This instrument was purchased from an employee working in design/development for Lupifaro/Phaselus (parent company). It was built as a prototype for testing out new features, and to aid in designing the next generation of Lupifaroinstruments. In terms of "level" of instrument, it is equivalent to the Lupifaro Platinum models, but with soldered-on tone hole rings (rolled tone holes) and a reverse action (Yani-style) octave mechanism. Being a prototype/design instrument, it is a 1-of-1, as evidenced by the serial number (which is essentially a date-code). The instrument has been played and tweaked to improve some small issues (mostly sticky pads).
