Appointments allow for the JL Woodwinds team to provide you a personalized, one-on-one experience. You will have priority access to one of New York City's largest inventory of saxophones! All appointments are completely free of charge.
Walk-ins are served on a first-come, first-serve basis. This includes access to instruments and accessories. The JL Woodwinds team is only able to help assist walk-ins intermittently when not assisting appointment holding customers. We very strongly encourage all customers to book an appointment for the most efficient and enjoyable experience.
We ask that you please respect the JL Woodwinds team and other customers by booking one appointment at a time. Appointments can only be booked by the website above, and not by phone, e-mail, or in person.
JL Woodwinds does not guarantee the availability of any particular product or reserve products before or after the appointment period. If you wish to try a product or accessory, please don't to hesitate to e-mail us to inquire about it's availability and to schedule an appointment for as soon as possible.
Customers with appointments are strongly encouraged to arrive on time to utilize the full duration of their scheduled time. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, JL Woodwinds will consider it a no-show and will return the items into stock. Customers may still stay and try items, but may be subjected to extended wait times due to other walk-ins.
JL Woodwinds appointments begin and end on the hour. We kindly ask that when your time slot is begins/ finishes, please respect the neighboring time slots for entering/exiting customers. If you need more time for your slot, please let us know as early as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you.
We kindly suggest a maximum of 2 guests in addition to the appointment holder. Teachers, parents, and mentors are strongly encouraged to attend the appointments as well.
