Saxophone fans, check out this Mark VI tenor that just came in! This is a 144xxx serial number that dates back to 1967 where it was hand made in Paris, France. This tenor's unique appearance is a result of its history of previous owners. The tenor has not been relacquered. One of its owners previously attempted to remove the lacquer themselves with some sort of light abrasive material such as steel wool. Fortunately, the American engraving is present and visible. The original neck's lacquer hasn't been touched and looks great. It is also free from any pull down or other damage. The bottom bow is free from denting and looks quite clean. This horn recently received a full overhaul from outside our shop and after a comb through by our shop it is sealing perfectly top to bottom. Although this horn isn't necessarily a looker, it has no shortage of the selmer sound and core!
