Saxophone fans, check out this killer Mark VI alto that just came in for sale! This is a 203xxx serial number Mark VI alto, placing its production to 1972. It’s American-engraved with so much of its original lacquer still intact. This one was professionally owned and very well maintained over the years. The original neck shows no signs of pull-down or other damages. The bottom bow is free from denting and looking great. It just got off the bench from a full overhaul here at JL Woodwinds and seals like a drum top to bottom. This alto needs nothing and is ready for gigging! These later Mark VI altos are, in our opinion, among the best-sounding horns out there. They deliver a powerful sound with a perfect balance of projection and the rich, dark Selmer core tone that players love.
