Saxophone fans, check out what just came in! This is a Selmer Balanced Action tenor that has been re-lacquered and re-engraved. The engraving was beautifully redone by Jaice DuMars in the original Selmer American style, complete with the classic windmill-by-the-lake scene on the front of the bell—it looks fantastic! This tenor is in excellent overall condition. The original neck is free from pull-down or other damage, the bottom bow is clean, and there’s no significant denting or scratching. It has an older but well-functioning set of pads which, after a quick comb-through in our shop, are sealing perfectly. Balanced Action tenors are known for having one of the best sounds among vintage horns, and this one is no exception. Its sound is huge, yet still carries that unmistakable Selmer core.
