Saxophone fans, check out this great tenor that just arrived in the shop! This is a 245xxx Selmer Mark VII dating back to 1976, when it was handmade in Paris, France. This horn was originally American engraved and silver plated. At some point in its history, however, it was professionally re-silver plated. Much of the silver plating remains, with the exception of the typical wear points. The bottom bow is free of dents, and the original neck shows no signs of pull-down. This tenor has just come off the bench after receiving a full overhaul in our shop.
The Mark VII was designed to be more ergonomic and accessible for players of all hand sizes, featuring a larger left-hand pinky table, oversized right-hand pinky keys, and a large high F# key. This tenor delivers the unmistakable Selmer sound at a fraction of the price of a Mark VI!
