WOW saxophone fans! Look at this truly stunning tenor that just came in for sale on consignment. This is a 47xxx Selmer Super Balanced Action in original silver plate. The serial number dates this horn back to 1952 where it was hand made in Paris, France. This is a European non-engraved horn, which in this silver plate finish looks incredible! Because it was a Euro horn, there was no serial number stamped on the neck. However, this is the original neck to the horn and is in immaculate condition. No pull down, damage, or signs of prior pull down/damage. The bottom bow of the horn and rooster are clean from dents and looking fantastic. The overall condition of this tenor is very, very good. No outstanding scratches, dents, or significant plating wear. This horn was recently overhauled outside of our shop with Pisoni Pro Italian leather pads and solid brass screw back resonators. When brought into us, we gave this horn a full set up and ensured everything was sealing perfectly as it should. This is a top tier SBA that was recently in the hands of a very high level NYC musician. It has the cosmetic appeal as well as the ability to play the lights out! Don't miss out on this CRAZY tenor, it won't be here for long.
