Wow saxophone fans... this is a horn for the records for sure. Check out this Selmer Mark VI tenor that just went up for sale. This tenor is about as clean as it gets! It looks practically brand new and the pearls are still sharp on it! This is a 66xxx serial number tenor that dates back to late 1956 where it was hand made in Paris, France and assembled and engraved in America. The original serial number matching neck is super clean and free from pull down or damage. The body is free from any dents, dings, or re-solders. There is hardly any lacquer wear on the body with the exception of the commonly handled areas like palm and side keys. The original nitrocellulose dark honey lacquer looks truly incredible and 95%+ remains on it. This tenor just received a full overhaul from our shop where it was fitted by custom request with black kangaroo skin pads, gold plated metal with rivet resonators, and gold plated blue needle springs. This tenor is not only visually stunning but it also plays the lights out! These 60xxx tenors are some of the best playing Mark VI tenors out there and this one is certainly no exception.
