It honestly doesn’t get any better than this! The pictures really tell it all, so please check out this Truly Incredible Original Condition 1956 Selmer Mark VI Tenor in nearly Factory MINT Condition! This horn came into our shop on consignment and it is a ONE owner horn who purchased it new and had only played it a handful of times in his life. The condition of the dark cellulose lacquer is truly phenomenal and it looks like a brand new VI from 1956! There are no dents dings or resolders and even the original case is fantastic condition. The engraver must have been having a very good day that day because the American Engravings on this particular Mark VI truly POP! The neck is of course Original and has the matching serial number with no damage of any kind. Even all of the pads corks felts and resonators are original and have seen no extensive repairs and still plays beautifully on them! Some of our clients will want the original pads still in the instrument. If you would prefer that we do an Overhaul please add $1,500 to the price. In 1991 the owner received a cash offer from Michael Brecker for $10,000 but they were not yet ready to sell.
