Saxophone fans, check out this unique Brecker-era serial range tenor that just came into the shop! This is an 84xxx serial number Mark VI dating back to 1960, handmade in Paris, France. It’s a European-engraved Mark VI that was previously relacquered that has nickel silver keys. During our overhaul process, we stripped the remaining lacquer down to bare brass. This look, combined with the nickel silver, gives the horn a truly one-of-a-kind aesthetic. This tenor just came off the bench after a full overhaul at our shop, where it was fitted with precision USA pads and seamless metal dome resonators. It needs absolutely nothing and is ready to gig on. In our opinion, these tenors represent the one of the best serial range of Mark VIs ever made—their depth of sound, power, and projection are unmatched.
