It’s not every day that a saxophone of this caliber comes into the shop—one from the world-renowned “Michael Brecker” serial number range. We’ve seen horns in the 80xxx range in varying conditions, but this one would be classified as very good, with so much of its original silver plating in tact. This one is a European non engraved. There are no major dings, dents, or scratches. It’s in overall excellent condition, showing only normal signs of wear. This tenor was previously owned by a professional player and was clearly well cared for. The original neck is in AMAZING shape no neck pull-down at all. This horn has a set of older but functioning pads and has been extensively inspected and perfected by our shop. It now seals like a drum and is fully set up and performance-ready. This is truly a remarkable saxophone especially if you are a fan of silver. It’s becoming increasingly more rare to find horns like this in such excellent ORIGINAL condition.
