Saxophone fans, check out this amazing Selmer Mark VI tenor that just came in! This is a 98xxx serial number Mark VI dating back to 1962, when it was handmade in Paris, France. It is an American-engraved tenor that was previously relacquered. It is uncommon to see a relacquered saxophone that hasn't had the engraving buffed off entirely. Typically we see them re-coated with an undesirable color of lacquer but thankfully this tenor is an exception. It just got off the bench from a full overhaul at our shop and now seals perfectly top to bottom. The original, serial-number-matching neck shows no pull-down or other signs of damage, and the bottom bow is also free of dents. This tenor is a serious player in a desirable in a GREAT serial number range. It offers a nice blend of projection and the iconic dark Selmer core.
