Saxophone fans, check out this Yamaha tenor that just came in for sale! This is a 048xx serial number Yamaha 62 "Purple Logo" tenor. The purple etched logo is no longer visible but the serial number and neck octave mechanism indicate this is a purple logo era tenor. This tenor came to us having been refinished to a scratch brushed dark gold finish to mimic a vintage horn patina. The keys and neck are still lacquered giving it a unique contrasting look. Overall, it is in great cosmetic shape with no major scratching or denting. The original neck is free from pull down and other signs of damage. This tenor was recently re-padded outside of our shop and after a comb through by us it is now sealing and playing perfectly! It is gig ready!
