Saxophone fans, check out yet another amazing Selmer Mark VI alto we just got in! This one features a 120xxx serial number, dating back to a 1965 production year. It’s a long-bow alto with a rare custom high F♯ key! This horn retains a beautiful amount of its original lacquer, with wear only in the commonly handled areas. It has the original, serial-number-matching neck with no pull-down or other signs of damage. The blue “S” on the neck is very present and likely has been repainted. The bottom bow shows some signs of a previous dent repair but was well done and in no way effects the playability of the horn. The horn has an older set of pads that are fully functional and sealing beautifully. After a thorough once-over, it’s playing great! These long-bow altos are some of our absolute favorite Mark VI serial ranges. They offer a rich, full sound with plenty of projection.
