Another truly amazing 5-digit Mark VI Alto just came into our sax shop, and it’s in fantastic condition! This one is a 63xxx serial number that dates back to 1956 where it was hand made in Paris, France. There is so much of its original beautiful dark honey lacquer left on it! This one is American engraved with the matching serial number stamped on the neck. The neck has no pull down or signs of previous damage and the bottom bow is dent free. This is an amazing example of the short bow model Mark VI that sings and really resonates. This one has a well functioning set of pads in it that were just fully combed through by our shop. It is now sealing like a drum top to bottom and ready to gig on!
