WOW…The pictures really tell the story, so please check out this truly incredible original condition 65xxx 1956 Selmer Mark VI Tenor in nearly factory MINT condition! This horn came into our shop on consignment and was found in a school tucked away in the back. The condition of the dark cellulose lacquer is truly phenomenal and it looks like a nearly brand new VI from 1956! There are no dents dings or re-solders and even the original case is fantastic condition. The crisp American engravings on this particular Mark VI are really popping through beautifully! The neck is of course original and has the matching 65xxx serial number with no damage of any kind! Even all of the pads corks felts and resonators are original and have seen no repairs and still plays beautifully on them! Some of our clients that collect these incredible Vintage Selmers will want the original pads corks and felts still on the instrument. Or if you would prefer to receive this saxophone into its top playing condition and you would prefer that we do a full Overhaul please add $1,500 to the price.
