The 71xxx serial number dates it to 1957, when it was hand-assembled in Paris, France. The lush floral American engraving is exceptionally crisp and beautifully preserved, standing out through the original dark honey cellulose lacquer. The original neck, with its matching serial number, had slight pull-down but was professionally repaired by our shop and restored to the correct angle and shape. The bottom bow is free of dents and has a clean bill of health, while the body is free from any major dents or scratches. This tenor has been fully overhauled by our shop and fitted with premium Italian leather pads and metal dome resonators, making it ready to gig on right away.
