Just into our shop is this Meyer 5M alto mouthpiece. This is what is considered to be an early babbitt Meyer, meaning it was made shortly after the NY production ended and the Elkhart production began. This 5M is a great player with a full bodied characteristic, the classic Meyer shimmer on top, and a good amount of brightness.
This mouthpiece is in used but good condition. The table is a bit scratched up but doesn't noticeably change the way the mouthpiece plays. It has a clean facing on it that responds very well. The tip and rails are in good condition.
